MONOTOPIA

Beyond the Arena is the sprawling world of Monotopia. Though technologically impressive, this planet is also the dullest place imaginable. The inhabitants have adopted a dry and unexciting way of life. They're taught that laughter and fun almost caused the downfall of their civilization. Constable Drab is responsible for keeping things as routine as possible. The rediscovery of RoboKiden is his biggest concern. He must stop the misfits from revitalizing RoboKiden so the sport doesn't become a problem again. Drab is on a mission to find the misfits and take away their toys.

FUN POLICE

Drab uses Bots called the Fun Police to limit levity across Monotopia. They follow his orders, but they never resort to physical force. Instead, they quietly block people from experiencing fun situations. These Bots are not necessarily interested in this job, but like all Bots, they follow their programming.

KIDEN STADIUMS

RoboKiden is played in Kiden Stadiums. These stadiums were built across the globe, each more elaborate and absurd than the one before. Kiden Stadiums were entire theme parks centered around the arenas themselves. With the GIANTS serving as mascots of their Kiden Stadium, entire fandoms built up around their favorite GIANTS and home stadiums. During decommissioning, the authorities sent workers and Bots to tear them down, but everyone they sent ended up playing the game! Fearful the fun couldn’t be contained, they hatched a new plan.

NO FUN ZONES

Raising massive barriers around the arenas, No Fun Zones were built to isolate them from the world. By deploying the Fun Police to patrol these areas, the world was safe from the disastrous effects of too much fun again. But in the present day, there's no need for patrols. Younger generations have been taught that No Fun Zones are dangerous places nobody should ever go.
