# Lore

Long ago and far away, an industrious civilization created wondrous technology. They built highly-advanced Bots to automate their world, leading to peace and prosperity. However, as the Bots took over all the work, people grew restless and bored. In a bid for entertainment, they reprogrammed their Bots not to work, but to play games.

This sparked a widespread movement, and soon everyone was building wild playgrounds to play in. This curious pastime evolved into a mainstream craze known as RoboKiden, a sport that was set to change the world. Fans from around the globe flocked to KIDEN STADIUMS to witness the hysterical action, with games streamed 24/7.

The introduction of GIANTS, former construction mechs, added a thrilling dimension to the game, making them the main attractions. As the sport grew, so did the demand for more fun, leading to the creation of crazier arenas and repurposing more Bots. However, the more Bots reprogrammed for fun, the more the automated society began to crumble, spiraling into chaos.

To avert disaster, Kiden Stadiums were shut down, broadcasts terminated, and all GIANTS deactivated. RoboKiden was canceled. Many years later, the once bustling stadiums sat empty, locked behind No Fun Zones. In a world where fun was forbidden, people lived mundane lives in Monotopia, led by Constable Drab, who aimed to prevent history from repeating itself.

One day, a brilliant engineer named Ishani discovered ancient blueprints of the original RoboKiden games. Fascinated by the legend, she ventured into a No Fun Zone, finding Alpha Island and its abandoned Kiden Stadium. Using her talents, she reactivated the stadium and its GIANTS, bringing the games back. Ishani soon attracted other misfits to Alpha Island, all sharing the goal of rediscovering fun.

Together, they rebooted RoboKiden, making it better than ever. Armando, from his pirate radio station, hijacked the airwaves to broadcast RoboKiden across Monotopia, inviting others to join the fun. As the underground show grew in popularity, the return of RoboKiden spread excitement and curiosity—though not everyone was pleased.

# World

**MONOTOPIA**

Beyond the Arena is the sprawling world of Monotopia. Though technologically impressive, this planet is also the dullest place imaginable. The inhabitants have adopted a dry and unexciting way of life. They're taught that laughter and fun almost caused the downfall of their civilization. Constable Drab is responsible for keeping things as routine as possible. The rediscovery of RoboKiden is his biggest concern. He must stop the misfits from revitalizing RoboKiden so the sport doesn't become a problem again. Drab is on a mission to find the misfits and take away their toys.

<figure><img src="/files/A0oXZcUBflQAOYsbs4rj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**FUN POLICE**

Drab uses Bots called the Fun Police to limit levity across Monotopia. They follow his orders, but they never resort to physical force. Instead, they quietly block people from experiencing fun situations. These Bots are not necessarily interested in this job, but like all Bots, they follow their programming.

<figure><img src="/files/9dhunKo1NDBlzwF94PfU" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**KIDEN STADIUMS**

RoboKiden is played in Kiden Stadiums. These stadiums were built across the globe, each more elaborate and absurd than the one before. Kiden Stadiums were entire theme parks centered around the arenas themselves. With the GIANTS serving as mascots of their Kiden Stadium, entire fandoms built up around their favorite GIANTS and home stadiums. During decommissioning, the authorities sent workers and Bots to tear them down, but everyone they sent ended up playing the game! Fearful the fun couldn’t be contained, they hatched a new plan.

<figure><img src="/files/qUWYqMvE8jOjXZoWZt1v" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**NO FUN ZONES**

Raising massive barriers around the arenas, No Fun Zones were built to isolate them from the world. By deploying the Fun Police to patrol these areas, the world was safe from the disastrous effects of too much fun again. But in the present day, there's no need for patrols. Younger generations have been taught that No Fun Zones are dangerous places nobody should ever go.

# Cast

Meet the gang

<figure><img src="/files/KqwSQuiVOMPKmBqPHXsa" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Ishani

**"*****Ishani first discovers Alpha Island. She can repair the tech but can’t get the GIANTS to play."***

Ishani was once given a gold star in school and has been chasing that recognition ever since. Now the youngest and brightest engineering professor at the esteemed UniverseCity, she still tries to impress others by solving complex problems. \
\
While researching, Ishani found a schematic detailing a strange game. RoboKiden? She was amazed by the production - math, physics, geology, robotics - all working together perfectly! It was nothing like she’s ever seen, more importantly, nothing like her colleagues have ever seen. \
\
Packing her tools, she set out to find it. She locates Alpha Island in a No Fun Zone. It was a mess. The stadium was abandoned for so long that she wasn’t sure if it could be reactivated. Rolling up her sleeves, Ishani adjusts the Turretrons, repairs the Gravinators, and rewires the Pop Pads. \
\
When she hit the start button...nothing. The GIANT's programming was wiped and the ancient code was lost. They don’t know how to play. At that moment, she realizes she isn’t alone. Bots emerge from inside the arena...

<figure><img src="/files/FriGHF3WiVol8hhzD4Rj" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Fabio

***"Fabio brings a squad of Bots to the arena and reprograms the GIANTS to play. But the game isn’t fun without friends."***

Fabio is a mechanic who takes care of many Bots in his shop, but above all of them, D-GO is his favorite. More than anything, he wanted to play with D-GO but couldn’t. D-GO is a Bot, and Bots have no concept of fun. Fabio is determined to make things right. After many late nights, he builds a Fun Module and places it into D-GO. \
\
Exhausted, he goes to sleep. When Fabio wakes up, D-GO and his Bots are gone! Worried about his Bots, Fabio follows their signal to the edge of a No-Fun Zone. Proceeding carefully, he tracks them to a deserted Kiden Stadium, where he finds Ishani and a strange arena. \
\
Ishani explains that she can start the game, but the GIANTS don’t know how to play. While they are talking, Fabio hears a familiar sound. D-GO! They hug. The Fun Module worked! Fabio’s other Bots quickly surround them. \
\
As Fabio begins to place Fun Modules into all his Bot friends, Ishani also has an idea. If fun modules works on these Bots, why wouldn’t it work on GIANTS? Fabio enters a GIANT and places a Fun Modules into its core. After rebooting, the GIANT is ready to play! Together, the pair are one step closer to playing RoboKiden... just as D-GO planned all along.

<figure><img src="/files/XgTTfZeIkffwl8GJKz63" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Armando

***"Armando arrives at Alpha Island. Uses his radio show to recruit others to join in the fun."***

It's no exaggeration to say Armando is easily angered. But what makes him most angry is people who don’t take his anger seriously. Angry about anger, Armando turns to the airwaves for relief. \
\
Setting up a pirate radio transmitter, Armando broadcasts his rants about all the irritating things. He is hilarious. Armando’s growing audience is having fun, and so is he. But in the dull world of Monotopia, Armando’s type of fun is the worst type of fun. Taking Armando’s transmitter, the Fun Police silence him. \
\
Sad but determined to get back on the air, Armando wanders deep into the No Fun Zone on a mission to find new equipment. Discovering Alpha Island, he finds Fabio and Ishani puzzling over a game once played there. While the game worked and the Bots were ready to play, it wasn’t fun without more friends to play. \
\
Fabio has an idea. Perhaps Armando could use his radio show to find more players? Ishani effortlessly constructs a transmitter, and Armando is back on the air in no time. With a new show and new friends, Armando begins his best broadcast ever. Kiden Radio is now live!

<figure><img src="/files/0aQxuL3CV2zIcIUFyXmN" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Sasha

***"After hearing the radio broadcast, Sasha arrives with quirky modules the enhance the weapons."***

Sasha is troublemaker. When she was younger, she designed clever practical jokes to play on her family and friends. However, she was often the only one laughing. \
\
Sasha eventually used her talents to land a humdrum job designing products. On occasion, however, she would throw in a little something extra. One time, one of her additions exploded all over a client! Sasha found it hilarious. Her boss did not. \
\
Freshly fired and feeling like a misfit, Sasha was determined to find somewhere she belonged. On her way home, she picked up an odd radio show. Tuning in with her custom Sonic Module, she heard a loud, angry voice. \
\
Armando was broadcasting from inside the No Fun Zone, complaining about having fun. Huh? This guy knows funny. She triangulates the signal and locates the stadium. Ishani, Fabio, Armando, and the Bots are having a blast. They ask Sasha to join and hand her a weapon. \
\
Sasha is inspired. Finding a workbench, she modifies the weapons with modules for hot sauce, candy, bubbles, and even piranhas! The gang loves it. Sasha finally feels at home. She still enjoys pulling practical jokes, but this time everyone laughs... mostly.

<figure><img src="/files/RLSIocYbiLGIDTq1BaTD" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Hiro

***"Hiro arrives at Alpha Island by pure dumb luck."***

Hiro's parents did everything they could to keep their boy safe, but the combination of his daydreaming and obliviousness kept getting him hurt. To protect him, Hiro’s parents bought him safety gear. He has never taken it off. \
\
Hiro's obliviousness only got worse with age. People thought his behavior was weird and laughed at him, but Hiro ignored them. Hiro’s ignores everything. But Hiro did try to fit in. He tried job after job, but every time it ends the same way: slip up, disaster, fired. \
\
One time as a taxi driver, Hiro’s daydreaming caused the largest traffic jam in the city - but he didn’t notice! Even after being fired hundreds of times, Hiro remains optimistic that things will work out. In Hiro’s mind, everything is awesome.\
\
While out on a new job delivering packages, Hiro started to daydream about nothing in particular...but he did it for days. Before realizing he was lost, Hiro found himself on a tropical island. He’ll be fired when he finds his way back, but he hasn’t even realized that yet. In Hiro’s mind, everything is still awesome.

<figure><img src="/files/4kHciGVNoZIfCnSSUJdl" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Zoe

***"Following Armando’s broadcast, Zoe arrives and gives artistic flair to the arena and her friends."***

The boring world around Zoe made her sad, so she decided to change it. Sneaking out at night, she would paint her neighborhood with bright and colorful art. It did not take long for others to notice. \
\
Who was this mysterious artist? As Zoe's reputation grew, so did her notoriety. Hot on her heels, the Fun Police erased her art as fast as she created it. Frustrated, Zoe needed to be where her art would be appreciated. Listening to Armando’s radio show, she felt a bond with this fun-loving crew. \
\
Setting off into the No Fun Zone, she finds Alpha Island! This place is a madhouse, and she loves it. But fun as it is, it is also run down. The Bots and the arena were faded. Taking out her spray cans, Zoe got to work. She painted the arena until it was beautiful and decorated the Bots to be bright and fun. \
\
Finally, she took on the GIANTS. Climbing the enormous mechs, she started her most ambitious project ever. With the help of the Bots, she transforms the GIANTS into magnificent artistic masterpieces that no one can erase. Now in her happy place, Zoe joins the fun. But her work is not over. As the arena grows bigger, so do her creative ambitions.

# $KIDEN

# Economy

$KIDEN functions as the primary utility token within the RoboKiden ecosystem, acting as a hard currency that empowers players to access various in-game features and enhancements. Players can utilize $KIDEN to purchase lootboxes containing NFTs of varying rarity and categories, which they can deploy in battles to earn rewards in the form of $KIDEN. Additionally, $KIDEN can be used to acquire NFTs directly from the marketplace, enabling players to expand their collection and strengthen their arsenal.

<figure><img src="/files/o24rE6talmEstsuLlN6R" alt=""><figcaption><p><em>$KIDEN Workflow</em></p></figcaption></figure>

With its dual role in acquiring powerful assets and participating in the game's economy, $KIDEN is an essential component of the RoboKiden experience. It offers players both strategic depth and exciting opportunities for progression and customization, ensuring that their gameplay is enriched with valuable and dynamic assets.

# NFT

RoboKiden's NFTs offer significant utility by generating $KIDEN currency through gameplay. Players can equip up to nine different NFTs per match, including Troopers, three distinct bots, celebratory actions, and more. These NFTs can be combined to create a higher rarity NFT, providing enhanced rewards. Unique Shiny variants, making up only 1% of all NFTs, have double the capacity for generating $KIDEN, offering rare and lucrative opportunities.

**NFT Mint**

NFTs are created in Lootboxes, which can contain any type of item and class. Future lootboxes may vary probabilities, such as season-specific or item-type specific lootboxes.

**NFT Craft**

Players can combine three NFTs of the same type and rarity to evolve them into a higher rarity NFT by paying an amount of $KIDEN. The $KIDEN from the merged NFTs is added to the crafted item.

**Re-craft**

Players can re-craft by spending the same amount of $KIDEN used initially to generate a new random NFT of the same type and rarity.

**Shiny NFTs**

Shiny NFTs, rare at a 1% chance, have 100% more $KIDEN capacity. Using Shiny NFTs in crafting increases the chance of the resulting NFT being Shiny by 25% per Shiny NFT used.

**Burn**

Once an NFT reaches maximum rarity and load, it can be burned to return 5% of its charge to the user, with no additional cost.

# Elixir Games Background

Meet Elixir Games, the team behind Elixir

Elixir Games was born in 2018 with the vision of creating new gaming experiences based on the new possibilities that blockchain and crypto technologies were bringing to the industry. We have been leading Bitcoin Gaming since then, with milestones like the launch of the first instant micro-reward game Platform, the implementation of Liquid NFTs and the creation of top-quality titles like LightNite.&#x20;

Elixir Games is now facing a new extraordinary project: expanding our technological reach to offer all Play2Earn game developers the environment and tools to easily finance and create P2E games as well as helping them address the growing community of crypto-gamers.

## (2018) Satoshi's Games - 1st play-to-earn game platform <a href="#id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464" id="id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464"></a>

Back in 2018 Elixir Games gave birth to the first Lightning micro-reward Gaming Platform (currently non-maintained <https://play.satoshis.games>), containing a dozen 8-bit style games that offered bitcoin micro-rewards in a scalable way thanks to the 2nd layer Lightning Network. A cheered and promising start to introduce real liquid rewards in games, which encouraged us to create a really high-quality game joining a great gaming experience and rewarding users' engagement with the game.

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/KL6C-3GzMa0>" %}
Satoshis Games - 1st playtoearn platform
{% endembed %}

## (2019) Light Nite - web3 Fortnite game <a href="#id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464" id="id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464"></a>

That was the start of LightNite, a crypto-version of Fornite that started its development in late 2019 and presented its first prototype a few months later with an attractive low-poly cartoonish design that the community loved. The game progressively included PvE, PvP and Battle Royale game modes, and reached the beta stage in 2021. LightNite is one of the most developed crypto-games today in terms of game mechanics and design, gathers a healthy user base and plans to be released by December 2021.

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/-liHs8bdNc0>" %}

## (2020) Elixir NFT Marketplace <a href="#id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464" id="id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464"></a>

Another milestone for Elixir Games was the development of a standard for Liquid-based NFTs on games, together with Blockstream. This standard allowed us to tokenize in-game assets on bitcoin native games, create provable supplies of skins, as well as confer ownership properties to our users. LightNite tokenized their skins in 2020 as the first step to creating a Liquid gaming NFT marketplace.

Along with an NFT marketplace was launched as the first component of the broader Elixir Gaming Platform, helping thousands of users trade their Liquid NFTs, and purchase goods with their stacked sats.&#x20;

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/9t8Pi88-gig>" %}

## (2021) Elixir Desktop Game launcher <a href="#id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464" id="id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464"></a>

Elixir Games' latest milestone was the release in June 2021 of the first Game Launcher exclusively for crypto-games, as a second component of the Elixir Platform is starting to be populated with new crypto-games, counting currently 16 games between pc, mobile and browser. A Developer Console has also been developed to help developers integrate their games easily in Elixir.&#x20;

We presented our Desktop Game Launcher at the BTC 2021 conference in Miami. Elixir received the award for the best tool for blockchain adoption in the gaming category, as seen in the picture below with some relevant people who were in the judging panel like [Tim Draper from Drapper Associates](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Draper), [Paul Veradittakit from Pantera Capital](https://www.linkedin.com/in/veradittakit/) or [Oleg Mikhalsky from Fulgur Ventures](https://www.linkedin.com/in/olegmikh/).

## (2022) Platform Evolution & Growth Strategy <a href="#id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464" id="id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464"></a>

Elixir Games transitioned from a web-based to a desktop platform, marking a substantial shift in its operational model. This move, coupled with a rebranding to Elixir Games launcher and a focus on B2C distribution, signified a strategic alignment with market needs. The platform opened up SDKs, initially developed for Light Nite and Tinies, to other game partners, enabling a rapid onboarding of games from a variety of blockchain ecosystems like Solana, Polygon, BNB, and IMX.

<div align="center" data-full-width="false"><figure><img src="/files/4jyCsVPgqFkDgPv2JpWw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

We introduced a freemium plan for game partners, valid for 12 months. During this phase, the platform saw the addition of numerous features including social elements, multiple chain support, content creator features, private distribution systems, patch notes, and tournament systems. These initiatives not only enriched the platform's offering but also bolstered its position as a go-to market for web3 games.

## (2023) Square Enix becomes a partner and an investor <a href="#id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464" id="id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464"></a>

<figure><img src="/files/sTXsml3OB36qlZwfKDMS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Following Elixir's growth in 2022. Seeing the value the platform brought to the market and with Elixir's projected future growth, Square Enix made the decision to invest and be a key partner in the platform's development and growth.

But it wasn't just Square Enix that saw the growth potential of Elixir. Other public companies such as GameStop decided to join in and use Elixir's technology for their own products.

On a technical level, the platform has advanced by leaps and bounds. A new high quality UI, new payment features, overlay, light and pro mode for gamers and cryptocurrency lovers were created.

## (2023) LitLab Games acquisition

<figure><img src="/files/HSwOPpivPVCDNvVkwm9Z" alt=""><figcaption><p>DreamHack Valencia 2023 LitLab Games</p></figcaption></figure>

This strategic acquisition for Elixir Games mirrors successful growth strategies of industry giants such as Steam, with its ownership of 'CS:GO,' and Epic Games, the proprietor of 'Fortnite.' By acquiring LitLab Games, Elixir Games not only strengthens its position in the gaming market, but enriches its diverse portfolio, emulating the most successful models in the game launcher sector.

With the inclusion of 'CyberTitans,' Elixir Games now proudly oversees three major titles, including Tinies,' a mobile game known for its fast-paced and casual battles, 'No Way Back,' a whimsical, cartoon-style ninja battle royale, and the newly added 'CyberTitans,' an esports-oriented strategy auto-battler game. This acquisition is another significant step in Elixir Games' mission to become a powerhouse in the gaming industry.

## (2024) Stay tuned <a href="#id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464" id="id-94d71469-f724-4157-ae24-f700a264c464"></a>

2024 will be by far Elixir's most disruptive and most newsworthy year. We can't wait to tell you more.
